Reconciliation

Sacramental Preparation

Children at the 2nd grade level are invited to prepare for and receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist for the first time. The preparation and reception of these Sacraments will take place over the course of a year. Children should receive their First Reconciliation prior to receiving their First Communion so that they are able to receive the presence of Christ in the greatest state of purity. Parents, therefore, should determine whether or not their child is ready to receive both Sacraments before registering for the program. Please note: it is okay to postpone preparation for the Sacraments if you do not feel your child is ready to prepare for and receive both Sacraments this year—programming will be available to children through 6th grade according to the readiness of the child.
If you wish to register your child for the First Reconciliation/Eucharist program, please view the 2017-2018 Eucharist-Reconciliation Registration Form and Calendar.

Children in Grades 3-6 who have received their First Communion, but have not yet made their First Reconciliation can be prepared for First Reconciliation using the Reconciliation Only Letter to Parents and the Reconciliation Only Registration Form.
