Safeguarding All God’s Family
The goal of the Safeguarding All of God’s Family program is to protect our children and all in the church family from sexual abuse and related dangers. Note: this program was formerly referred to as the “Virtus Program.”
According to the policies of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, individuals MUST attend a Safe Environment Education session prior to any volunteer service where they will be in regular contact with children.
(Catechists, athletic team coaches, Girl Scout leaders, chaperones for overnight activities, and other Church volunteers who have regular contact with children or youth)
- All volunteers who have regular contact with children are required to attend a Safe Environment “Protecting God’s Children” awareness session.
- Will have a criminal background check completed.
(These documents will be kept on file at your parish or school.)
- Will read and sign the Code of Ethical Standards and the Mandatory Reporting Statement. A copy of the signed Code will be kept on file at parish or school. (These documents will be kept on file at your parish.)
Start here to pre-register for the session on the Safeguarding All of God’s Family Events page.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering your time with the children of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
