Baptismal Preparation (for Parents of Infants)

ulolfuqm8kghyhb519amldv1ywl.jpgCongratulations on your new son or daughter! We are looking forward to helping you celebrate your child’s Baptism. Here is all that you need to do:
  • The best time to prepare for the Sacrament of Baptism is before the birth of your baby, before you are busy caring for a newborn. We ask parents to join the parish and become participating members for at least two months. (see Joining the Parish)
  • Contact the Pastoral Minister to register for a Baptismal preparation class. This one evening class is offered six times per year, so it is good to sign up early. The class will answer any questions that you may have about the Baptism ceremony and selecting Godparents.
  • After you and your spouse complete the Baptism preparation class, you will be able to schedule your baby’s Baptism.
  • Baptisms are held the second and fourth weekend of each month (based on the Sunday.) You may have the Baptism after the 5:00 p.m. Mass on Saturday, or during the 10:45 Mass on Sunday, or after that Mass.
