Exciting changes coming your way…please read carefully

The 2022-23 year of Christian Formation is being planned here at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and we are excited to know that your family will be a part of it!  Again this year, you will be able to register and pay for your family online.  This has been a convenient option for many.

What opportunities are available for me, my children, and my family this year? 

Grade K4 - Grade 5 - there are 2 options

1. As part of the Sunday Program: The Sunday Program is offered from October through May twice per month on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. This is a child-only program; however, on the second Sunday of every month, parents are invited to attend the adult enrichment speaker series at the same time in Seton Hall.
2. As part of the Family Faith Formation program: Family Faith Formation is offered from October through May twice per month (New this Year) and meets on Monday evenings at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. This program is a family commitment; at least one parent is required to attend.  Adult formation will be offered at all sessions.

• • The first Family Faith Formation session of the month includes a meal and meets from 5:30-7:30 PM.
  • (New this Year) The second Family Faith Formation session of the month does not include a meal and meets from 6:15-7:30 PM.

Grades 6-10 - there are 2 options

1. As part of the Sunday Program: The Sunday Program is offered from October through May twice per month on Sunday evenings (New this Year) from 6:15-7:30 PM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. This is a teen-only program.
2. As part of the Family Faith Formation program: Family Faith Formation is offered from October through May twice per month and meets on Monday evenings at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. This program is a family commitment; at least one parent is required to attend. (Parent attendance at the 2nd session each month is optional).  Adult formation will be offered at all sessions.  (New this Year) Grades 9-10 included in Family Faith Formation.

Adult Enrichment Opportunities

Watch for unique and exciting opportunities this year through our adult enrichment program! We will be partnering with all levels of Christian Formation providing a unified approach to topics such as prayer, scripture, faith in times of life's trials, and much more!  Click here to find out more!

Registration and Fees

Please complete the online forms as soon as possible so that we can order supplies and prepare for another great year of Christian Formation.  The pricing is the same for all Christian Formation programs.

* For those who volunteer as catechists, fees are reduced by half.

Photography and Video Consent

Sharing photos, videos or audio recordings of children on a parish website, social media platform, parish bulletin or other form of publication is an effective way to update parents, share event results or celebrate accomplishments. The following standards are followed in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton's effort to protect the digital footprint of your child.

• Photos, videos, or audio recording of minors in groups of two (2) or more children are allowed
• Images are posted after the activity is completed so location information of a minor is not available
• Minors are not identified by name, but rather by group

Register for Christian Formation

Volunteer Opportunity

Are you interested in helping Seton's youth grow closer to Christ? Volunteer as a Small Group Leader! Small Group Leaders share their faith several times a month with a group of youth during Christian Formation sessions. They help lead large group lessons and activities and facilitate discussions with their small group. Curriculum and lesson plans are provided. We’re looking for small group leaders for K4-10th grade.

Commitment:

• Twice a month from October through May during one of our Christian Formation Programs
  • Family Faith: Mondays from 6:15-7:30 P.M.
  • Sunday Program for Kids: Sundays from 9:30-10:30 A.M.
  • Sunday Program for Teens: Sundays from 6:15-7:30 P.M.
