About the Project:

This month, the Seton community is called to support the House of Peace and their initiative to feed up to 2,000 families in need of Thanksgiving and Christmas meals.

We will be holding a food drive from November 1st through November 9th to complete Holiday Meal Boxes. The House of Peace supplements each of these Holiday Meal Boxes with a ham or a turkey.

Last year, your generous donations fed over 600 families! Let's see if we can top that this year.

How You Can Help...

Use the Shopping List & Drop Off Your Food Donation

Review the shopping list before your next trip to the grocery store. Pick out the items you are able to donate and drop them off in the parish sanctuary between November 1st and November 9th.

We'll Do the Shopping For You!

A $40 donation will fill one Holiday Meal Box with 1 box mashed potatoes, 1 bag stuffing, 1 cake mix, 1 frosting, 2 boxes cornbread mix, 4 cans corn, 2 cranberry sauce, 4 green beans, 1 sweet potatoes, 2 boxes macaroni & cheese, 2 puddings, 1 gravy. Donate today!

Volunteer With Us to Pack Boxes

We are asking for families/individuals to sign up in advance to volunteer for:

  • The moving of the donated food items from the sanctuary (church) to Sippel Hall on Sunday, November 9

  • Picking up pre-ordered grocery items from the store and delivering them to Sippel Hall on Monday, November 10

  • The sorting and packing events on Monday, November 10, Tuesday, November 11, Wednesday, November 12, and Thursday, November 13.

  • Taking an inventory and assisting with grocery shopping on the afternoon of Thursday November 13 for items required to complete partially-filled boxes.

Please note:
