A special time set aside each week to hold Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. To pray about what may be on our personal ‘Worry List’…family and friends, relationships, health, finances and the things in the world that may trouble us; an opportunity to ask forgiveness and to give thanks.
To be held in the Adoration Chapel of Holy Apostles. There is easy and direct access to the chapel from Holy Apostles’ west parking lot from 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM. The chapel is not accessed from the church. Come before work, during the day or after dinner or when the kids are in bed. If you are uncertain about your ability to regularly fulfill a weekly commitment, nudge yourself and sign up anyway. If something comes up and you miss a week, come back the following week.
Come with material that you can use during your prayer time such as your bible and the weekly readings, your rosary, a hymn that spoke to you from the weekend order of worship or one of the books or pamphlets from the gathering area or library. An opportunity for quiet time in prayer to grow one of the seeds of our faith life and to act on our desire to, as Father Joe said on Easter Sunday, move from spectator to participant.
