Volunteer Opportunities

A pillar candle is embellished with the name, date and location of the baptism using supplies provided by Seton. The information is glued on the candle, a decoupage glue is added, and a decorative ribbon is attached.

  • It is 20 minutes of work spread out over a few hours to allow for drying time between applications.

  • You must be able to pick up and drop off supplies during office hours.

  • There is great flexibility in when work is done as a two week notice is usually given.

Follow Jesus - Serve Others

The child being baptized, family, and the baptism participants benefit from this visible symbol of the sacrament of Baptism. The candle is also used when the child receives the sacrament of First Communion.
