Child Ministry exists to help kids live, pray, and grow in their relationship with Christ Jesus. The Child Ministry program reaches out to families with children ages 0 to 5th grade through a variety of programs, activities, and events.

Within the context of our Disciple Formation programs, we offer opportunities for children ages 0-5 to be formed in our faith, welcomed into our community, and filled with God's love, both formally and informally.

Volunteer Time Commitment

2x per month, 1.5 hours each

Volunteer Opportunities

Childcare Leader/Helper: this is a great opportunity for teens and adults! While parents are attending formation events, they can leave their children ages 0-3 in the capable hands of loving childcare leaders.

K4-K5 Small Group Leader/Helper: this is a great opportunity for teens and adults! Join the K4-K5 leader team on Sunday mornings or Monday evenings and share faith, Bible stories, songs, and games with some of our youngest disciples.

Follow Jesus - Serve Others

Disciple Formation is the very essence of following Jesus by serving others. Through our formation programs, we are passing on the faith to the younger generations, thus accomplishing Jesus' Great Commission.

Reflection of this Ministry

Most leaders tell us that they receive far more than they give as small group leaders, and that they learn far more than they teach. Formation is a unique opportunity to accompany another person (or more) on their faith journey, and so grow closer to Jesus together.
